About Me

Rachel Barton: Rachel Barton was born in Kilkenny, Ireland in 1988. Barton work Is a multidisciplinary practice but at the moment is predominantly Drawing and traditional hand-drawn Animation. Barton Graduated from the Crawford college of art and design in 2012 and was awarded a residency with Cork Film Centre which finished with a group show Soft as an easy chair '13. From 2012 – 2014 she was a member of Sample Studios studios Cork. In 2013 she was selected for the on going Cork Film Centre animation mentorship programme under the mentoring of Aardmanns Dave Pedley and Paper plane productions Jane Lee. She had a performance piece as part of the Group show The Youngones''14 In the Rua Red, Tallaght Dublin and of recent Hive E -merging gallery Waterford Group exhibition Breaking sensation Feb'15. She currently Lives In Dublin
